Depending on how it is used, the curtain protects, emphasizes importance, adds lightness, shields, but it can also hide, divide, hinder access, or obscure the view, signaling opaque intentions. In April, “Fałdy” was presented in Kiosk With Art – a pleated curtain hanging across the interior. It referred to the Wrocław implementation of “Folds” unveiled during ECC Wrocław 2016. In October, in Lublin, I arranged the folds into a spatial collection of drawings from years 2016-2025, entitled “Fałdy 2.”
Manifests for Future contribute to the discussion on transparency before Lublin becomes the European Capital of Culture.
